Sedona Distributed Controllers | SDC-30 SDC-30 Sedona Distributed Controller

SDC-30 is a fully programmable 30-point controller using Sedona Framework™. The SDC-30 controllers are programmed either with Sedona Workbench or NiagaraAX Workbench. The controller are fully networkable using the Open Standards and offer both Modbus as well as BACnet communication. The controller can act as a BACnet IP or MS/TP server. The controller has can also be Modbus client over TCP/IP or over RS-485 serial connection. If the RS-485 serial connection is not used to other communications then the SDC controller can also be used as Modbus master to up to 8 Modbus slaves.

In addition the controller has a built-in web-browser interface that can be used for configuration of the controller IP addresses and BACnet identification, and other Sedona properties. The controller has 8 universal inputs, 8 digital inputs, 8 digital outputs, 2 triac outputs and 4 analogue ouputs guarantee flexibility to a large number of the applications.

The framework allows free programmability, and a large number of applications libraries developed for SDC-30 guarantee funtionality to practically any application. Furhermore, should the Sedona Framework allows further enhancements to applications as and when required.
  • Programming via Sedona Workbench or NiagaraAX Workbench allows existing programming tools to be used effectively. This limits the required learning curve and allows existing Niagara Framework™ users such as Tridium JACE™, Honeywell HAWK™ and Trend TONN easily adapt to use the SDC-30 controller.

  • SDC Supports 10/100 Base-T Ethernet Connection for Configuration Interface via Web-Browser, BACnet IP, Modbus TCP and TCOM

  • The RS485 port can be used for the controller to operate as Modbus MS/TP server
